“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.”

I am known as Caleb by most people. I am a mechanical engineer with a particular desire to pursue research in energy efficient robotic systems and to teach. I love discussing theology and doctrine. The purpose of this personal blog is to keep me accountable to myself and to the rest of the world by fully processing my thoughts and reflections and publishing them in a concise and deliberate manner. God reveals Himself to me through my contemplation and exploration. I hope that others may share in my wonder and humility at the revelation of Christ.

Aside from writing, my hobbies include web design, table tennis, various other sports, spending time outside and a whole variety of other little things. I juggle, walk on stilts, do ridiculous jumps, construct random things and the list goes on. I love to travel and would love to visit every country in the world if at all possible (I have already been to 22). I am half American and half Chinese and was born in Malaysia. I spent 8 years of my life living in the Middle East.

Check out my writers group, Quinoa <kwin-o-a>, at bittersaponins.com! We are a group of young writers, artists, engineers, and scientists who do not settle for the mediocrity of jaded Christian apathy and compromise. I desire for my generation to experience God personally and powerfully and to respond in destitution of spirit.

“And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
